The string trio 'Origin II' is the second in a cycle of three works called 'Origin'. The first work 'Origin I', also available on archive.org, is
a septet for flute, clarinet, percussion, piano and the third work 'Origin III', currently lost, is intended for 9
instruments - the seven plus trumpet and trombone. As such the entire
cycle can be performed as three movements for different parts of the
same ensemble, or such were the idea.
